Bev Tjasink Chislett
Founder of JUNO Creative
In 2009, after 11 years working in the City of London, JUNO Creative’s founder went freelance, starting a visual brand and marketing communications consultancy in support of small- to medium-sized business. Her experience is drawn from professional services (where she started her career), corporate and small business (including start-ups). Bev is naturally creative and passionate about her work, and cares deeply about the environment. She is a perfectionist with exceptionally high standards – both in terms of the quality of her contribution as well as her level of service.
South African born Bev has been living and working in London since 1997. She is grateful to the two people who believed in her and taught her (almost) everything she knows – she is forever in their debt.
The Mythology of JUNO
In Roman mythology, Juno was the protector and special counsellor of state and known as the ‘Queen of the gods’. She ruled over all aspects of Roman life, with particular emphasis on finance and administration. Her Greek equivalent was Hera to whom the peacock feather is synonymous. The design of the point of the feather was perceived to be the ‘all-seeing eye’ with its vibrant turquoise and blue colours. She led with integrity, loyalty and honour.
